Turns out that making a million 1" squares took about the same amount of work that an actual regular sized quilt would have. But the quilting was a lot easier. In the end it was a strange size so I decided to make it into a quillo (quilt + pillow)! It was a great idea and now I sleep with it everynight since it's super comfy!

Dry Bones Quillo!
So awhile ago I wanted to start making quilts, and figured that it would be best to start with a mini-quilt. I had an idea to make a mini quilt of Dry Bones!

Dry Bones Mini Quilt
I decided that maybe it wasn't the best idea to try and make my first ever quilt gigantic. So when I found a bag full of old clothes that don't fit anymore I thought I should make a mini quilt with the old fabric. There is lots of black and white so I was thinking of what I could make with those colors.
The solution came while I was playing Mario Party with my little brother. I could make a mini-quilt of the coolest character Dry Bones!

Actually the Dry Bones from the original Mario Bros because he's already pixelated.
My soon to be quilted version:

Now I just have to cut out a bunch of mini black and white squares!
