Wishful Thinking Trends

So when I'm looking for trends from the runway shows the first show I go to is the Marc Jacobs show. So crossing my fingers, a trend for the spring will be...fanny packs!

I mean, let's face it, everyone loves fanny packs. They're incredibly practical. But still, no fanny packs made out of nylon. Those will never be OK.

Michael Kors is Amazing

I'm usually not a huge fan of of Michael Kors collections, he usually plays it pretty safe and classic which is great but doesn't make for such an interesting fashion show. But this year, as many designers were going more classic as a result of the recession he started to go crazy with leather, colored fur and crazy hats. I mean come on:

I need this coat. Fur and pink, two of my favorite things.
On second thought maybe he is designing for the recession. I mean, pair that coat with this hat:

and you can get rid of your heat! I'm sure that the money you'll save on heating bills is far less than the price of these clothes.

DVF Bag

I covet this bag. I'm thinking that it can't be all that hard to make yourself, instead of waiting for it to come out and paying a bajillion dollars. Hopefully you'll be seeing this project sometime soon! The hats are also pretty awesome even if completely unwearable.
